Factory and Capacity

Our state-of-the-art factory facility is located in East London, 1.5 Km from East London harbour, and 17Km from the airport.
This allows easy access to transportation, a good road network, and regular rail links to other major South African centres.

The complex comprises 11,000 m², which canv be expanded quickly and easily, with a substantial 4MVA power supply, and compressed air throughout the factory.

Vektronix uses the SAGE enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity and cost-effectiveness in all processes.
In addition, our experience and sophisticated skills equip us superbly for new product industrialisation and in-house design of test jigs.

Additional benefits cover the latest television production technology, two SMT lines and four wave-solder lines, one of which is lead-free. We have access to a stable, experienced and flexible workforce.

Vektronix has ISO 9001:2000 accreditation, and boasts 0% field returns on Samsung CRT production. We have also recieved a ZERO DEFECT AWARD from Circuit Breaker Industries.
The manufacturing capability includes:
