Factory and Capacity

Our state-of-the-art factory facility is located in East London, 1.5 Km from East London harbour, and 17Km
from the airport.This allows easy access to transportation, a good road network, and regular rail links to
other major South African centres.

The complex comprises 11,000 m², which can be expanded quickly and easily. A substantial 2500 kVA
power supply with a backup 300 kVA Generator, 60 kVA UPS for the SMT department and compressed air throughout the factory.

Vektronix uses the SAGE enterprise resource planning (ERP) system to ensure maximum efficiency, productivity and cost-effectiveness in all processes.
In addition, our experience and sophisticated skills equip us superbly for new product industrialisation and in-house design of test jigs.

Additional benefits cover the latest television production technology, three SMT lines and two wave-solder lines, one of which is lead-free. We have access to a stable, experienced and flexible workforce.

Vektronix has ISO 9001:2000 accreditation, and boasts 0% field returns on Samsung LCD, LED and PDP production. We have also recieved a ZERO DEFECT AWARD from Circuit Breaker Industries.
The manufacturing capability includes:
